The Uffculme Cornerstone Lodge of Mark Master Masons 1992 received a request for help from the Tiverton Town Band following their attendance at the Town's Remembrance Parade in November 2025. The day was very cold and rainy, and the members got soaked and frozen while playing music throughout the march and ceremony. The request was to purchase warm rain jackets suitable for all age groups. They required 35 jackets in total, costing £1842.54, a significant sum but for a very worthwhile cause. The Charity Steward from the lodge could not cover the full sum, so he applied to the Devon Mark Charity Association for a Grant, which they generously approved. The DMCA agreed to support the group by funding a grant of £1000.00, and the Lodge was able to support and pay the balance.

The presentations were made at a recent rehearsal meeting in Tiverton, by Worshipful Brother Peter Morgan, the Charity Steward of the Uffculme Mark Lodge, together with Worshipful Brother Paul Howard-Baker, the Secretary and Treasurer of the Devon Mark Charity Association.
