The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, together with his wife Sue and his family, were among 500 brethren attending the wonderful PGM’s Summer Ball hosted by the Craft Province of Devonshire, which was held at the wonderful venue at Sandy Park in Exeter. Joining him were numerous other Mark Master Masons from across the Province, together with their partners and guests. They enjoyed a wonderful meal together, with many of them joining together courtesy of the organisational skills of Worshipful Brother John Hipwell, Grand Steward, who co-ordinated a large booking across 6 tables, whilst others were spread around the room in their own groups of friends and families.

  

Following the excellent meal provided by Magda and the team at Sandy Park, those attending were treated to an evening of entertainment featuring the music of Barry White, Whitney, Tavares, and the Drifters, with many taking to the dance floor from the very first dance.

  

It was also wonderful to see the tribute to the late Worshipful Brother Paul Watson, who was known to many of us and had been instrumental in organising many events across both the Craft and the Mark Degree.

An excellent event that was well organised, and on behalf of all the brethren of the Mark Degree within Devonshire, we congratulate Right Worshipful Brother Nicholas A. Ball, the Provincial Grand Master and his team for making it such a great evening of fun and happiness.
