The Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, was the presiding officer at the recent Installation meeting of the Fortescue Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 9. He was accompanied on his travels by Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, the Provincial Grand Secretary, together with holders of Royal Ark Mariner Grand Rank.

The main event of the evening was to see the Worshipful Commander, Worshipful Brother Peter Kyle proclaimed as the Worshipful Commander for a further year. Worshipful Brother Peter then appointed and invested his officers for the year. Although being a smaller lodge, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master was presented with a cheque for £400 towards the Mark Benevolent Fund.
 
At the completion of a wonderful evening, the brethren, although few in number, retired to the refectory to enjoy a wonderful festive board together.
