Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott led the team to Totnes recently to witness the installation ceremony of the Pleiades Mark lodge 675. He was accompanied on his travels by Right Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Very Worshipful Brother Martin Smith, Provincial Grand Chaplain, and a host of Grand officers including Worshipful Brother David Eldridge, the Grand Inner Guard, and Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, Grand Steward and the Provincial Grand Secretary.

They were joined by a number of Provincial officers including Worshipful Brother Barry Purdy, Provincial Grand Senior Warden, Worshipful Brother Robert Hendy, Provincial Grand Junior Warden and Worshipful Brother Robert Truesdale, Provincial Grand Senior Overseer. They were all kept in place by the Provincial Grand Assistant Director of Ceremonies, Worshipful Brother Gilson Rowe.

Owing to an unfortunate accident, the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Rex Brown was unable to attend the meeting so the Immediate Past Master, Worshipful Brother Andrew Hall who is also the Provincial Grand Master Overseer, stood in as the Installing Master for the evening.

Worshipful Brother Andrew went on to install the new Worshipful Master in an exemplary manner, and Worshipful Brother Dennis Huxley then went on to appoint and invest an excellent team of officers for the year. One of the junior members of the lodge, Brother Ollie Williams gave an excellent rendition of the Working Tools, whilst the evening was well organised by Worshipful Brothers Dennis Hobday, the Lodge Secretary, and Mike Grimes, the Lodge Director of Ceremonies.

Following the meeting the brethren retired to the Seven Stars Hotel, where they initially joined together on the veranda enjoying some evening sunshine, before partaking in an excellent festive board.
