Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, the Provincial Grand Master, was the presiding officer at the recent Installation meeting of the Dartmouth Mark Lodge 737. He was accompanied on this occasion by Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother Peter Balsom, Past Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master, and Very worshipful Brother Martin Smith, Past Grand Junior Overseer and the Provincial Grand Chaplain.

They were joined by a host of Grand and Provincial Grand Lodge Officers including Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, Grand Steward and the Provincial Grand Secretary, Worshipful Brother Barry Purdy, the Provincial Grand Senior Warden, Worshipful Brother Robert Hendy, the Provincial Grand Junior Warden, and Worshipful Brother Robert Truesdale, the Provincial Grand Senior Overseer.

During the meeting, Worshipful Brother Ivor Green was proclaimed and will remain in the chair of this wonderful lodge for a further year. He then went on to appoint and invest his officers for the year. Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the refectory where they enjoyed an excellent festive board, with the atmosphere filled with fun and laughter.
