The Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, was the Presiding Officer at the recent Installation meeting of the Brunswick Mark Lodge 48 held at the St Aubyn Masonic Hall, in Plymouth. He was accompanied on this occasion by Right Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Very Worshipful Brother William Daw, Past Grand Junior Overseer, Worshipful Brother David Eldridge, Grand Inner Guard and Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, Grand Steward and Provincial Grand Secretary.

They were further joined by a host of Grand and Provincial Grand Officers and in particular Worshipful Brother Barry Purdy, the Provincial Grand Senior Warden, Worshipful Brother Robert Hendy, the Provincial Grand Junior Warden, Worshipful Brother Robert Truesdale, the Provincial Grand Senior Overseer and Worshipful Brother Jon Webber, the Provincial Grand Junior Overseer and the Provincial Assistant Grand Secretary.

The lodge was opened and the Provincial party were welcomed by the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Roger Inman, Past Grand Junior Deacon. Worshipful Brother Roger then went on to undertake the main business of the evening, by installing his successor into the chair of Adoniram. The ceremony was performed in a very sincere manner with Worshipful Brother David Scobling being installed in fine form, and he went on to appoint and invest a strong team of officers for the year.

Following the meeting more than 40 brethren retired to the refectory, and enjoyed a great festive board with the humour and happiness that befits this wonderful degree.
