Whilst attending the installation meeting of the Devon Mark Rugby Lodge 958, the Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, had the pleasure of announcing his Provincial Grand Overseers for the ensuing year.

It is with great pleasure that Worshipful Brother Georges Adroit of the St Andrews Golf Lodge 1370 will be appointed as the new Provincial Grand Master Overseer, with Worshipful Brother Malcolm Gorst, of the Lewis Mark Lodge 1284, to be appointed as the new Provincial Grand Senior Overseer and Worshipful Brother Cyril Whittaker, of the Friendship Mark Lodge 16Ti, to be appointed as the new Provincial Grand Junior Overseer.

He further went on to confirm the appointments within the team of Directors of Ceremonies and the Secretariat.

He has been pleased to promote Worshipful Brother Roger Farrow to be the new Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies who will take over from Worshipful Brother Lee Taylor as he retires this year. Worshipful Brother Roger will be supported by Worshipful Brother Gilson Rowe, the new Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies on promotion, together with Worshipful Brother Simon Wills, remaining as the Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies.

He was also pleased to confirm that the Secretariat remains unchanged with Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer remaining as the Provincial Grand Secretary, with Worshipful Brothers John Hipwell and Jon Webber remaining as the Provincial Deputy Grand and Provincial Assistant Grand Secretaries respectively.

These brethren will be formally invested at the Provincial Grand Lodge meeting in Torquay on the 3rd October 2026.
