It was an excellent turnout from the Provincial team at the recent installation of the Caput Anguli Mark Lodge of Wardens and Overseers 798 in Plymouth. Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, the Provincial Grand Master, was the presiding officer and was accompanied by Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning and Very Worshipful Brother Bill Humphries, both Past Deputy Provincial Grand Masters and Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, Grand Steward and the Provincial Grand Secretary.

They were further joined by a host of Provincial Grand Officers including Worshipful Brother Barry Purdy, the Provincial Grand Senior Warden, Worshipful Brother Robert Hendy, the Provincial Grand Junior Warden, Worshipful Brother Andrew Hall, the Provincial Grand Master Overseer and Worshipful Brother Robert Truesdale, the Provincial Grand Senior Overseer.

The main event of the evening was to see Worshipful Brother Russell Dearing install his successor Worshipful Brother Bill Philip, which he did in an immaculate and sincere manner. Worshipful Brother Bill went on to appoint and invest his very experienced team of officers for the year.

Following the ceremony more than 40 brethren retired to the refectory and enjoyed a wonderful festive board with an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment, which always is found at Mark meetings.
