Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, the Provincial Grand Master was present at the recent installation meeting of the Amity Mark Lodge 849 in Exmouth. Amongst the visitors to the meeting was Right Worshipful Brother Philip Voisey, the Provincial Grand Master for the Province of Somerset. Right Worshipful Brother Phil has been a great friend and visitor to the Province, and this visit was marking the approaching completion of his career as Provincial Grand Master. He has been their Provincial Grand Master since 2019 and will be succeeded by Worshipful Brother Tony Guthrie, their Deputy Provincial Grand Master, in May at their Provincial Meeting.

He is pictured alongside the Provincial Grand Master, together with Right Worshipful Brother Peter Balsom, Past Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, Grand Steward and Provincial Grand Secretary, and Worshipful Brother Nicholas A. Ball, the Provincial Grand Master of the Craft and Grand Superintendent of the Royal Arch within the Province of Devonshire.

For all present, it was a pleasure to enjoy this wonderful evening together, and displaying how the friendship within this degree spreads not just within our own Provinces but across borders as well.
