The 11th Torbay (Barton) Sea Scout Group based in Torquay recently requested assistance in order to replace their life jackets which were coming to the end of their life. In support of this wonderful organisation, the 4 Jordan lodges, representing the Craft, Royal Arch, the Mark, and the Royal Ark Mariners, all submitted charitable donations ensuring that the single amount of £600 would be sufficient to replace all their life jackets.

The cheque was recently presented to their Akela, Mr Andy Gardener on behalf of the Treasurer and Group Lead Volunteer, Mr. Paul Bailiss, Worshipful Brothers Rick Povey and Peter McIntyre, with both brethren being members of all 4 lodges across the 4 orders. Following the presentation, the brethren were entertained by the scouts , which brought back many memories of their own scouting days.
