The second installation meeting of the week took place at the Torbay Lodge of Mark Master Masons 586 in Paignton and was well attended. The presiding officer, on his second visit of the week was Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, and was accompanied by Worshipful Brother David Eldridge, Grand Inner Guard and Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, Grand Steward and Provincial Grand Secretary. They were joined by several supporting Grand and Provincial Grand Officers, including Worshipful Brothers Barry Purdy and Robert Hendy, the Provincial Grand Senior and Junior Wardens, and Worshipful Brother Robert Truesdale, the Provincial Senior Overseer.

The Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother David Burton, installed his successor Worshipful Brother Nick Clemens in an exemplary ceremony, who went on to appoint an excellent team of officers for the year.

Following the excellent meeting, the brethren retired to a packed refectory and enjoyed a wonderful festive board. After the summer recess, it was a perfect sight to see so many brethren present at a Mark meeting again.
