Right Worshipful David Charles Purdie, the Provincial Grand Master was present at the recent installation meeting at the St Peters Mark Lodge 187 in Tiverton. He was accompanied by several brethren including Right Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother David Eldridge, Grand Inner Guard, Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, Grand Steward, Worshipful Brother Julian Turner, Provincial Grand Junior Warden and Worshipful Brothers Nigel Frude, David Richards and Dr Alan Howlett, the Provincial Grand Master, Senior and Junior Overseers.

  

  

The main event of the evening was to see Worshipful Brother Robin Brooks being proclaimed as the Worshipful Master for the ensuing year, who went on to appoint and invest his officers. The Provincial Grand Master, however, used the first rising to present Mark Benevolent Fund Collarettes, on behalf of the Grand Master, to two brethren that were present in the lodge that evening. Worshipful Brother Peter Morgan, Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies and a member of the St Peters Lodge, was presented with the Patrons collarette. Worshipful Brother Julian Turner, present as part of the Provincial Team was also presented with the Vice Patrons Collarette. Wonderful recognition indeed for both brethren, showing their contributions to the Mark Benevolent Fund.
