The brethren of the Strode Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 1495 had a wonderful time at their recent meeting. The main business of the meeting was to see the elevation of a new member to the Ancient and Honourable Fraternity within Devonshire.

The ceremony which undertaken by the Worshipful Commander, Worshipful Brother Cyril Whittaker, saw Brother Tony Moody elevated in an excellent manner. The Worshipful Commander was ably assisted by Worshipful Brothers Russell Dearing and Glynn Rendle, who delivered the signs and secrets and working tools in an exemplary manner.

Following the meeting the brethren retired downstairs to the refectory and enjoyed a harmonious festive board together.
