Worshipful Brother Eddie Dymond visited the Children’s Hospice at Fremington in North Devon recently. Eddie invited Worshipful Brother Paul Howard-Baker, the Provincial Grand Charity Steward and Worshipful Brother Rob Palmer, the Deputy Provincial Grand Secretary and Grand Steward to accompany him. The reason for their visit was that Worshipful Brother Eddie had vacated the Chair of the Devonshire Lodge of Installed Mark Masters 1750 in July, and during his year in office, the Lodge raised £300.00 for charity. As the retiring Worshipful Master, he felt that it was appropriate to donate these funds to the Hospice.

Poppy Harrop gratefully accepted the cheque for £300 on behalf of the Hospice, and she extended a cordial welcome to any Freemasons to visit the Hospice on the monthly open days to see the valuable role the Hospice plays in the care of children and their families. Anyone interested in visiting the Hospice can contact either Eddie, Paul or Rob, for arrangements to be made in due course.
