There were more than 40 Brethren packed into the temple as the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Anthony Whitehead, welcomed those attending before presenting the Assistant Provincial Grand Master with a cheque for 1000 Guinea’s (£1050) to be given to the Devon mark Charity Association.

The brethren then witnessed the installation ceremony of Worshipful Brother Nickolas Reynolds as the new Worshipful Master, which was undertaken in an exemplary manner by Worshipful Brother Anthony.

One of the of exceptional pieces of ritual for the evening was delivered by one of their newer brethren, Brother Jacek Palczewski, who was advanced in October 2024, and this was only his 3rd meeting since then. Brother Jacek presented the working tools in an exceptional word-perfect manner. An excellent achievement, especially considering that English is his second language.

Following the meeting the brethren retired into the refectory and enjoyed a wonderful festive board
