Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, joined the brethren of the Fortitude Mark Lodge 66 for their installation ceremony in Plymouth recently. He was accompanied on this occasion by both active Grand Officers, namely Worshipful Brothers David Eldridge, Grand Inner Guard, and Robert Palmer, Grand Steward. He was also joined by a number of active Provincial Officers including both Provincial Wardens, Worshipful Brothers Garry Kitchen and Julian Turner, together with all 3 Provincial Overseers, in the persons of Worshipful Brothers Nigel Frude, David Richards and Dr Alan Howlett.

The main event of the evening was to see the proclamation of the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Peter Fowkes, who was remaining in command of this fine lodge for a further year.

Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the refectory and enjoyed a wonderful festive board which, as expected, was full of fun and enjoyment.
