The fruits of the Magic of the Mark initiative, which is continuing well within the Province of Devonshire, were seen at the Jordan Lodge of Mark Master Masons 319, in Torquay recently. Present for the evening were Worshipful Brother David Eldridge, the recently invested Grand Inner Guard, who acted as the Master Overseer for the evening, together with the other newly invested Grand Steward, Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, also the Provincial Deputy Grand Secretary, both looking resplendent in their chains.

The brethren Advanced Brother Marc Green in a lovely ceremony, which was performed by the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Stephen Rattlidge, together with his great team of officers. Following the ceremony, Very Worshipful Brother Ronald Smerdon, Past Grand Junior Overseer, presented the Grand Lodge certificate to Brother Martin Everill in his usual eloquent style.

The evening concluded with a wonderful festive board, which also included a presentation to the caterer’s, who were retiring after 10 years of feeding the Jordan lodge, together with the other lodges within the building.
