Very Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, joined a host of brethren as the presiding officer, at the Installation meeting for the Exon Mark Lodge 1075 in Exeter.

He was accompanied on his visit by an array of Grand and Provincial Grand Officers, and especially on this occasion, by Right Worshipful Brother Peter Balsom, Past Provincial Grand Master, and Worshipful Brother Dennis Challis, Grand Steward who was on his last visit as an active Grand Officer for the year.

Worshipful Brother Dennis stated it had been an immense pleasure and honour to serve in this role during the last year and wished his successor, Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, a similar wonderful year.
The meeting was opened, and the Provincial Party was welcomed, and after the Gavel was proffered, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master was informed that over the last year, the lodge had given £1000 to local charities, which was excellent achievement by this lodge.
Worshipful Brother David Wortham then proclaimed Worshipful Brother Adrian Garrity as Worshipful Master for a second Year. Worshipful Brother Adrian then went on to appoint and invest his officers.

The next labour of the evening was the eloquent delivery of a lecture on the degree of “The Ancient and Honourable Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariners”, which was presented by Worshipful Brother Bill Philip in his usual exuberant manner. He was assisted by Worshipful Brother Gilson Rowe, and by the end of the evening, a membership application had been received from one of those present in the room.
Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the refectory for a fun filled festive board, with much humour and discussion amongst all these great friends in Mark Masonry.
