The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, joined the brethren of the True Love and Unity lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 675 when they held their Installation meeting in Brixham recently. The Lodge, having recently re-moored to the Pleiades Mark Lodge 675, following the sad closure of the True Love and Unity Mark Lodge 1159, were able to celebrate this installation ceremony in style. The Worshipful Commander, Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, Prov.R.A.M.G.R. and the Provincial Grand Secretary, was proclaimed in the sincere way by the lodge for the ensuing year. 

As the proclamation took place, it was a defining moment for the lodge, as Worshipful Brother Chris became not only the first formal Worshipful Commander of 675, but also was recorded as the last Commander of the Lodge under the number of 1159. He then went on to appoint and invest his crew for the year, and they are looking forward to welcoming 3 joining members together with a candidate for elevation in the coming months.

Following what was described as a delightful evening within the lodge, the brethren made their way up to the Churston Golf Club for the festive board, and resisting the temptation to go and play a round, they enjoyed the excellent company and friendship of the degree.
