The Exmouth Masonic Hall committee recently held a social event to not only raise funds for the building, but also to enjoy a social evening with brethren from all orders within Exmouth and elsewhere attending.

The “Pig Racing” evening was co-ordinated and controlled by Worshipful Brother Paul Jones and his family, together with his race marshalling team, who had travelled up from the deepest depths of Plymouth.

  

The racing involved numerous battery powered pigs heading up the racecourse, however the highlight of the evening was the “Rabbit Race”, which was met with a round of applause following the race as the winner was announced.

Well done to all involved in a great evening, and it proves that raising money can be done in many ways, especially using social events with fun and humour included.
