The brethren of the Sincerity Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 35 undertook an elevation ceremony at their recent meeting. Brother Eric Davies, who is a member of the Friendship Mark Lodge 16Ti, was welcomed into the lodge in an excellent manner by the Worshipful Commander, Worshipful Brother Chris Tyler and his team.

Joining them for the evening, were members of the Devonshire’s very own Royal Ark Mariner Enlightenment team, headed up by their Admiral Worshipful Brother Bill Philip. Worshipful Brother Bill, on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master, presented the newest member of the Sincerity Lodge with his Provincial Royal Ark Mariner tie.

He was then joined by, what can only be described as his motley crew, in the persons of Worshipful Brothers Russell Dearing, Mark Rodd and Gilson Rowe. This team have assisted him bringing enlightenment to the Province recently, not only in respect of recruitment, but also supporting those lodges that need additional assistance with ritual or lectures.

It was lovely to see that, through the help of this team, not only did the lodge receive a request to become a joining member from a visitor who was present, but another candidate for elevation was also proposed. Things are continuing to look up for this lodge.
