On an evening where the weather might have challenged that of the great deluge experienced by Noah and his family, the members of Fortitude Mark 66 gathered in Plymouth for their regular meeting.

The Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Very Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, joined the brethren and visitors, to hear the story of the Ark, unicorns and the development of the Ancient and Honourable Order of Royal Ark Mariners. Worshipful Brother Bill Philip, P.G.J.D. R.A.M.G.R., known locally as “The Admiral”, gave an inspiring and humorous talk about the benefits of membership, and a little of the history of the Degree, to what could be described as an attentive audience. He was applauded at the conclusion and thanked by the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Peter Fowkes.

  

As a result of this overview, it is anticipated that some applications to join this wonderful fraternity will be forthcoming.
