The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful brother David Charles Purdie, travelled to join the members of the North Devon Union Mark Lodge 540 at their installation.

He was joined by several brethren from the Provincial team, who had made the long journey up to Ilfracombe for the evening. Those present included Worshipful Brother Paul Howard-Baker, Grand Senior Deacon and Worshipful Brother Garry Kitchen, the Provincial Grand Senior Warden, together with all three Provincial Grand Overseers, namely Worshipful Brothers Nigel Frude, Master, David Richards, Senior, and Dr Alan Howlett, the Junior Overseer.

A wonderful evening was had by all seeing Worshipful Brother Roy Almond being proclaimed as the Worshipful master for a further year.
