A wonderful evening was held recently at the Fortitude Lodge of Mark Master Masons 66 in Plymouth. Amongst the visitors was Very Worshipful Brother William S. Humphries, the Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Grand Master Overseer.

During the evening, Very Worshipful Brother Bill was invited to present a Grand Lodge Certificate to Brother Andrew Russell, who had been advanced at their last meeting. He gave a wonderful explanation of the certificate before welcoming him into this fine degree.

The Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Peter Fawkes, together with his Director of Ceremonies, Worshipful Brother Nicholas St John White, who is also the Intendant General of the Red Cross of Constantine for Devon and Cornwall, joined them for a photograph. Also pictured are two stalwarts of the lodge, namely Worshipful Brothers Roy Lucas, Secretary, and Nigel Frude, Treasurer and Provincial Grand Master Overseer.

  

Later in the evening, following a unanimous vote in favour, Very Worshipful Brother Bill Clemens, was accepted as an honorary member of the Lodge. Bill has been unable to attend the lodge recently due to ill health, but was proud to be honoured in this way.
