The Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, was the presiding officer at the Amity Lodge of Mark Master Masons recently, to witness the installation of their new Master.

He was joined by more than 70 Brethren, who saw an excellent Installation ceremony, where Worshipful Brother Christopher Potter was installed into the chair of Adoniram in fine form.

Following the ceremony, and the appointment of his Officers, the Worshipful Master invited the Assistant Provincial Grand Master to present 2 Grand Lodge certificates, before a ballot was taken for their next candidate. This is a lodge that is continuing to flourish following a Magic of the Mark evening held the previous year.

Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the packed refectory for a wonderful festive board. The atmosphere was charged with fun and happiness, and it was great to see the meeting’s attendance levels being back toward the pre-pandemic levels.
