A wonderful evening was had at the Spencer Lodge of Mark Master Masons 1495 recently, seeing one of the first new Mark Master Masons being advanced in 2025.

The Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Glynn Rendle, on the evening was assisted by both his team together with some members of the Devon Mark Support Team. They undertook the Advancement ceremony, by Advancing Brother Tony Moody in an excellent fashion. The candidate was treated to an excellent explanation of the signs and secrets by Worshipful Brother Gilson Rowe, who was also acting as the Junior Deacon. Worshipful Brother Gary Kitchen, this year's Provincial Senior Warden, stood in as the Junior Warden, whilst Worshipful Brother Bob Truesdale gave an excellent rendition of the in conclusion after presenting the new Candidate with his apron.

Following the meeting they all retired to enjoy an excellent festive board, where those assembled welcomed Brother Tony into the fine atmosphere of the Mark Degree.
