The Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, led a delegation to the Guernsey recently, so that they could attend the installation of the new Provincial Grand Master for the Mark Master Masons of the Channel Islands. He was accompanied on this occasion by Right Worshipful Brother Peter Balsom, Past Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master, together with several holders of both Grand and Provincial Grand rank. The brethren were fortunate to enjoy the company of the Deputy Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother Professor Denovan Keith Wilson, who was the presiding officer for this meeting.

The provincial Party enjoyed a wonderful ceremony and festive board, which was held in the purpose-built Masonic Temple in St Martin, Guernsey, and this was a building that was greatly appreciated by all who had attended.

It was also noticed that following several visits to Provinces throughout the year, the wives and partners were not going to be left out of this trip and were able to accompany them. They were then free to roam and enjoy the delights of Guernsey whilst the brethren were at the meeting. A great weekend away that will be remembered by all those attending.
