Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by the Provincial Grand Secretary, Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, recently attended a wonderful white table meeting being held by the St George Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 15 in Gandy St, Exeter.

As with all white table events, it was an opportunity for the brethren of any lodge to promote and showcase the Ancient and Honourable Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariners to Mark Master Masons within the Province. The Province will always provide guidance and assistance to lodges wishing to run such events if they require it.

What made the evening more interesting and fun, was when the Charity Stewards face turned to joy, as all the mobile phones started ringing with the Governments Red Alert warning for storm Darragh midway through the meeting. Needless to say, in the usual manner, the brethren honoured this first time event by contributing to charity.

A number of Mark Masons attended the event, and enjoyed the company of those around them, culminating in a sumptuous festive board in such a great setting.
