The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David C. Purdie, was joined by over 70 brethren including a host of distinguished visitors at the recent Installation ceremony of St George Mark Lodge 383, in Plymouth.

Accompanying our PGM on this occasion were the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Very Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Assistant Provincial Grand Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, the Past Provincial Grand Master Right Worshipful Brother Peter Balsom, and the Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Very Worshipful Brother Bill Humphries also the Grand Master Overseer, and Worshipful Brother Paul Howard-Baker, Grand Senior Deacon.

After opening the lodge, the Provincial Grand Master and his Team were welcomed by the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Ron Bennett, before the lodge moved on the the main event of the evening, which was to install Brother Mark Ormrod MBE as Worshipful Master.

It was an excellent ceremony in which Worshipful Brother Ron installed Worshipful Brother Mark into the Chair of Adoniram in a very sincere manner.

It was fitting that such an evening was so well attended, as the previous installation ceremony had been delayed due to W. Bro Mark being unavailable due to his many and well respected external commitments. 

Following the meeting, the brethren congregated in the refectory, where it was a packed house for the festive board, and where those present enjoyed celebrating such an auspicious event with such a well respected Brother, who felt honoured to have become the Master of this wonderful Mark Lodge.
