The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David C. Purdie, joined brethren of the Devon Mark Support Team (DMST) this week, at the latest of their "Magic of the Mark" presentations, headed up by Worshipful Brother Paul Watson. This meeting was held in Torquay under the banner of the Jordan Mark Lodge of Mark Master Masons 319.

The meeting at Jordan was opened and then after the customary business, the lodge was called off and the potential candidates were invited into the meeting. 

They were able to listen to a short opening by Worshipful Brother Watson, followed by the opportunity to watch the "Magic of the Mark" video produced by Mark Masons Hall. Following the video, a demonstration to wet their appetite for the Mark, was undertaken by members of the DMST explaining certain aspects of Mark Masonry, and how this degree expands on the background of the second degree, without giving away too much.

After the presentation, the Provincial Grand Master said a few words of welcome, and the brethren then retired to the refectory. Following the meeting, they were able to enjoy the company of the brethren of Jordan Lodge and the DMST team at the festive board, and they could see the fun and laughter that makes our order so special.
