The Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, joined the brethren of the Benevolent Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 316 at their recent Installation ceremony in Teignmouth.

The Worshipful Commander presented a £200 cheque for the DMCA to the DPGM, which was in addition to two further cheques for £200 each being presented to other local charities over the coming days.

The installation ceremony was carried out by Worshipful Brother Norrie Millen, who installed his successor, Worshipful Brother Malcolm Gorst, with much dignity and reverence.

The new Commander then went on to appoint and invest his officers.

  

The meeting concluded and 31 brethren retired to the refectory and enjoyed a wonderful festive board, including a roast lamb main course, and home-made bread and butter pudding with custard to finish it off.
