Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, the Provincial Grand Master, recently joined the brethren from the St Andrews Golf Lodge on their day of Golf before their May meeting at the Exeter Golf and Country Club. 

A wonderful day of golf ensued, mixed with the usual competition, which eventually lead to Worshipful Brother Rob Hendy winning the Purdie Shield. 

The brethren then held their normal May meeting during which they not only proposed and accepted 3 joining members, but also had the opportunity to Advance a new brother into the order.

  

Following the meeting, the brethren retired for the festive board and there were presentations for those who managed to return from the course that day, with some dignity still intact
