Right Worshipful David C. Purdie, the Provincial Grand Master, was able to witness a wonderful installation ceremony when he travelled to the picturesque coastal town of Brixham recently, to visit the True Love and Unity Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 675.

The installation ceremony was carried out by Worshipful Brother Ben Larcombe who installed his successor Worshipful Brother Chris Elliott in fine form.

This ceremony was very special to the new Commander, as not only is he the Provincial Grand Secretary of this Province, but it is also his mother Royal Ark Mariner Lodge in his home town. The lodge had also held its 50th birthday only last year. He was delighted to be joined my many other Royal Ark Mariners who had travelled from shores afar to join him.

Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the Churston Golf Club where an excellent festive banquet was enjoyed by all.
