Right Worshipful Brother David Charles Purdie, our Provincial Grand Master, and his Deputy, Very Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, have both been out and about in the Province over recent days, visiting lodges and making presentations.

The Provincial Grand Master visited the Ashburton Lodge of Mark Master Masons and witnessed, not only an excellent ceremony of Advancement for a new Brother joining the lodge, but he also had the opportunity to present the Grand Lodge Certificate to Brother Richard Barter, who had been advanced at the previous meeting.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master went out to the Fortitude Lodge of Mark Master Masons 66 in Plymouth, where he had the opportunity to present 2 Grand Lodge certifciates to both of their recent Advancees, namely Brothers James Currie and Grant Tosh.

Both presentations came with an excellent and detailed explanation of the certficate, its design and meaning, which the brethren found exceptionally interesting.
