Right Worshipful Brother David Purdie, the Provincial Grand Master, together with a band of Provincial and Grand Officers, including his Assistant, worshipful Brother Brett Varker, and Worshipful Brother Ian Kingsbury, the Past Provincial Grand MAster for the Craft, travelled to Unity Lodge of Mark Master Masons 783 in Crediton, to witness and excellent ceremony of Installation.

The meeting was opened by Worshipful Brother David White, who has been their Master throughout this celebration year for the Lodge. After welcoming the Provincial Grand Master, he then went on to install his successor in an excellent manner, with much reverence and emotion.

The new Master, Worshipful Brother Phillip Eakers, then went on to Appoint and Invest his officers in fine form, and it was pleasing to see all of the progressive officers filled by Brothers, showing how well this lodge is progressing for its membership.

The Worshipful Master then invited the Provincial Grand Master to undertake two presentations. Firstly the perpetual Past Masters Jewel to W. Bro David White, followed by a Grand Lodge Certificate to a new member, Brother Norman Thornton.

Following the meeting 60 brethren enjoyed a wonderful festive board.
