The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Purdie, was joined by a host of Grand and Provincial Grand officers at the recent installation meeting at the North Devon Union Lodge of Mark Master Masons 540 in Ilfracombe.

The ceremony, undertaken by Worshipful Brother Graham Cox who had occupied in the chair for 2 years, installed his successor Worshipful Brother Roy Almond in an impeccable style.

During the meeting, the Provincial Grand Master was honoured to present a Grand Lodge certificate to Brother Ian Langham, who said he was looking forward to his journey in Mark Masonry

Also during the evening, there was the presentation of the Music System as part of the "Music 4 Lodges" initiative. It was handed over to the newly installed Worshipful Master and the Immediate Past Master, by our Provincial Grand Master and the Provincial Deputy Grand Secretary, Worshipful Brother Rob Palmer.

Following the meeting, 45 brethren retired to the refectory, where they were treated to an excellent festive board, before many of them made their long and weary way back south to their native lands
