The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Purdie, was accompanied by a large contingent of Grand and Provincial Grand Officers, present and past, at the recent installation ceremony at the Amity Mark Lodge 849 in Exmouth.

The ceremony was undertaken in an excellent fashion, with Worshipful Brother Trever Deadfield being proclaimed as Worshipful Master for a second year, by their Director of Ceremonies, Worshipful Brother Graham Rowland.
The brethren present were also impressed by the propositions made that evening, with not only one ballot for a candidate for advancement, and another for a joining member, but to have a further 5 proposed as candidates for Advancement. These brethren had recently attended the "Magic Of The Mark" evening at the lodge, and it was remarked by the Worshipful Master that the support of the Province and DMST team had been a significant factor in this, and he thanked all those involved in that evening.
Following the meeting the brethren retired to the refectory for the festive board, with 51 brethren dining that evening.
