Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, recently joined the brethren and guests at the Ashburton Lodge of Mark Master Masons 1038, to witness the advancement of the 4th candidate from a Magic of the Mark evening. The Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Barry Purdie, lead his team immaculately through the ceremony, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming to the new Member, Brother Richard Barter. He stated how enjoyable and interesting he found the ceremony, and was looking forward to enjoying the order for many years to come.

   

Worshipful Brother Varker, whilst in the meeting, was also able to present Brother Alex Bear with his Grand Lodge Certificate.

The meeting was concluded and the brethren assembled for the usual buffet style festive board, which was enjoyed by all those attending.
