The Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, has recently announced the creation of the Rugby Themed Mark Lodge within the Province of Devonshire.
Following the sad closure of some Mark Lodges recently, it is invigorating to see the positive response for continuing to keep Mark Masonry as a wonderful order within our Province.
The lodge will re-utilise the warrant from the former Athelstan Lodge of Mark Master Masons 958, and will meet three times per year, during the rugby season.
It is planned that the Lodge will organise at least one visit to a rugby match during the year, and possibly more if this is what the members want. It will also involve a special dining experience for the members.
It is also hoped that the Rugby themed Lodge will also attract Masons, who are not yet Mark Master Masons through their interest in rugby, as direct advancees into the lodge.
Full details have been distributed to all Lodge Secretaries within the province, which will both be read out at the next lodge meeting, and distrbuted to brethren accordingly.
