The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Purdie, accompanied by both the Deputy and Past Deputy Provincial Grand Masters, recently joined the Brethren of the Hawton 100 Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, and their guests, to celebrate the lodge's 48th birthday. The evening involved a ceremony of Elevation to this Ancient and Honourable Fraternity, and Bro Gareth John was welcomed into the lodge in fine form. The festive board, enjoyed by more than 50 brethren, followed the meeting and much fun was had by all - Party Hats and a birthday cake were all included.
