The Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David Purdie, accompanied by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, and over 50 brethren travelled to Uffculme to witness the Installation ceremony at the Cornerstone Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 1992.

Once the Lodge had opened, the PGM had the honour to present to the Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother Brett Varker, with the Keystone collarette, celebrating and marking the contributions made by the Brethren of the lodge. A well deserved award to a lodge which had only been consecrated in 2019, and showed the commitment of the Lodge and its members for supporting the DMCA and the MBF. 

The Worshipful Master, also our very own Assistant Provincial Grand Master, then proceeded to instal his successor, Worshipful Brother Robert Palmer, in an excellent manner into the Chair of Noah.

Once the formalities of the evening had been completed, the brethren retired to the refectory for a wonderful festive board. The sound of enjoyment throughout the evening again reminds us of how special this degree, the Ancient and Honourable Fraternity of Royal Ark Mariners, is within our province.
