The DMCA recently supported a local charity in Bideford that aims of promoting social inclusion and integration through the provision of support services and relief through their drop-in centre.
A cheque for £300 was handed to them in order to purchase a new water urn and kitchen utensils, needed to supply the additional meals to those that need them.

The DMCA aim to support local initiatives within Devonshire by supplying small grants, generally up to a maximum of £500, and they need not be a registered charity. However any proposal for a grant should be for items of a capital nature, i.e. something tangible and lasting such as a piece of equipment, and not for revenue items such as repairs and renewals or to support the Charity’s general administration costs.
Grants are made quarterly.
