On Friday 24th March, the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro David Purdie, attended the Athelstan Lodge of Mark Master Masons 958 at the Topsham Masonic Hall.

During the meeting, and after 86 years in operation, it was with great sadness that the brethren of the lodge handed back the warrant to the PGM.

The lodge stated that it was great to have so many visitors and friends present to see them off at this final meeting of the lodge

Moving forward, of the 16 members of the lodge, all but two have joined another Lodge - A positive that the order has not lost the membership as a result of this sad event.
