After a  very successful Christmas Dinner, raffle and quiz held at Manadon Hall, including donations received from brethren over the last two weeks the brilliant sum totalling nearly £700 was raised.  This allowed the organisers  (members of DMST) to deliver much needed supplies of food, blankets, towels and washing powder and other items along with  £100 cash  to the Gables Dogs and Cats home where the hard working staff along with Veggie the spaniel gratefully received it.  W.Bro`s Mark Rodd, Paul Jones, Gilson Rowe and Bill Philip taking a quick breather before unloading the trailer for fund co-ordinater Helen who was on hand to see Veggie behaved himself.
