Very Worshipful Brother John Clendinning, Deputy Provincial Grand Master was the presiding officer who was supported by the ADC W.Bro. Gilson Rowe and the Deputy Provincial Secretary W.Bro. Nic White.  Included in the escort were W.Bro. Ken Foster R.A.M.G.R and W.Bro. Douglas Phillips R.A.M.G.R together with W.Bro. Brian Pady and W.Bro. William Daw. Other officers of Provincial Grand Rank and visitors attended.

It made no matter that the weather was foul outside, WCN Dominic Primmer managed the meeting with a firm confidence and carried out his duty to install Bro. Paul Johnson in a lovely manner. WCN Paul then invested his officers with a similar confidence. The meeting was held on a Saturday as the new WCN had been unable to attend the scheduled Installation (October) for personal reasons. W.Bro. Bill Philip had done an extremely good job of organising the event and was commended. Amongst congratulations given were those to W.Bro. Philip and W.Bro. White who are to receive Royal Ark Mariner Grand Rank in December, they were met with acclamation from the assembled brethren.

We retired to a delicious festive board buffet, drinks, chat and good company accompanied by short speeches.  It was also a delight to get home for an early evening!
