Worshipful Brother Mick Carter, P.A.G.D.C., the Provincial Grand Registrar, and a member of the Hawton 100 Mark Lodge, recently visited the Friends of Cann Bridge School, located in Plymouth. The reason for his visit was to present some charitable donations to the charity on behalf of both his Lodge, and the Devon Mark Charity Association, whilst seeing the good work they do and the happiness it brings.

The school caters for children aged three up to 19 with mental health issues. 3cann are the young ones, and donations will be used to purchase small classroom tents for when they have a “melt-down”, so that they can be isolated to calm down, whilst being able to continue their work.

The donations totalling £600 from both Hawton 100 and the DMCA, will make a real difference to the 3Cann learners, allowing the school to purchase these key pieces of furniture, so that they can enhance their classroom environment.
