Brethren within the Plymouth Area joined together for a Christmas Party at the Manadon Masonic Hall recently. The aim of the evening was to raise funds for the Annual donation to the Gables Dogs and Cats home in Plymouth.

  

Organised by Worshipful Brother Bill Philip, the evening was a great success raising a wonderful amount for the donation to this worthy cause. Worshipful Brother Bill was assisted by some Santa’s little helpers in the evening, and especially Worshipful Brother Russell Dearing who ensured that the charity raffle ran smoothly. It was lovely to see so many brethren with friends and family enjoying this festive evening, with both our own Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Very Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning and our Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Grand Master Overseer, Very Worshipful Brother Bill Humphries, suitably dressed for such an occasion.

   

A few days later, Worshipful Brother Bill was joined by some more of his little helpers, namely Worshipful Brother Gilson Rowe and Paul Jones, as they delivered essential supplies of food, bedding, blankets and toys to the Gables Dogs and Cats Home, pictured with one of the staff members at the home.
