Brethren of the Exmouth Mark Lodges, namely the Devon Mark Rugby Lodge 958 and the Amity Mark Lodge 849, together with the Unity Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 783, joined forces in support the Exmouth Women’s Rugby Club. The club had the aim of creating new changing rooms for the Women’s teams. The donations from the lodges, totalling £1250, were then supported by a grant from the Devon Mark Charity Association for £5000, and would be enough to complete the funding for the work to commence.

Brethren representing all three of the Lodges, were joined by Worshipful Brothers Brett Varker, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, when they recently met up with representatives of the Exmouth Women’s Rugby Team and presented them with the cheque for £6250.

The players are now looking forward to using these new changing rooms, affording them dignity, whilst welcoming visiting players with more comforting surroundings.
