The brethren of the Hawton Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 100 travelled to Ivybridge to hold their most recent regular meeting. Amongst the crew that night were some of the Provinces distinguished brethren in the persons of Worshipful Brother Peter Hawken MBE, Past Provincial Grand Master and member of the Grand Masters Royal Ark Council, Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master, and the Worshipful Commander, Worshipful Brother Peter Keaty, also a Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master of the Craft within the Province of Devonshire.

The highlight of the evening was to see a well-respected member of Mark Masonry, Brother Rex Brown, being elevated into the Ancient and Honourable fraternity. The ceremony was undertaken in fine form by the Worshipful Commander and his crew, with excellent renditions of the signs and secrets by Worshipful Brother Mick Carter and the Working Tools by Worshipful Brother Jim Davis.

Following the successful meeting, the brethren retired to the refectory to enjoy a superb festive board with the atmosphere of fun and enjoyment surrounding the whole evening.
