Worshipful Brother Christopher Elliott, the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, was the Presiding Officer at the recent installation of the Strode Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners 1264 in Plymouth. He was accompanied by Worshipful Brother John P. Clendinning, the Past Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Worshipful Brother Bill Philip, Royal Ark Mariner Grand Rank.

The main event of the evening was to see the installation of their new Commander into the chair of the lodge by Worshipful Brother Cyril Whittaker. He installed his successor, Worshipful Brother Tom Davison, in an excellent manner and the new Commander then appointed and invested his new crew for the ensuing year.  

 

Following the meeting, the brethren retired to the refectory and enjoyed a wonderful festive board, with the atmosphere filled with fun and laughter than always is present aboard the Ark.
